EGSA Spring 2023 Registration is Open

Dear Community:

We are pleased to announce our spring season for Ewing Girls Softball Association!

Our softball season this year will run from April through June for age groups t-ball through 14u (birth years 2007-2017).  This season, we have joined with the River League, playing both in NJ and PA along the Delaware River, such as, Lambertville, Hopewell and Upper Makefield, to name a few.  This new partnership will gain us access to more teams to play during our season, which in turn, will give our girls more game time and fun filled season.  For age groups 8u-14u will have 2 games per week, one home game and one “away” game.  The away games are no further than 35min or so.  T-ball age girls will have skill drills and mini games 1 – 2 times a week.

For 30 years, EGSA has provided Ewing girls with positive life experiences, encouraged good sportsmanship and helped develop the individual and teamwork skills needed to succeed in softball and life. With each passing season, we strive to improve the experience for our athletes, their parents and the community.

Unlike other area youth programs, EGSA does not solicit for personal donations in order to operate our recreational league. All of our recreational program revenue is generated via our registration fees, corporate sponsorships and concession stand revenues as well as the Hit-a-Thon Fundraiser and new this year optional raffle opportunities. To help foster involvement with the organization, we do ask each family to work a shift in our snack bar at some point in the season. After working the stand, a portion of your registration fees will be refunded to you.

EGSA is a 501.3(c) non-profit, volunteer-operated organization that needs community support to operate. If you are able to volunteer any time or service, in any capacity, please indicate so on the registration form. The organization will provide training courses for anyone interested in coaching which can lead to certification in enhanced teaching skills for softball. All volunteer coaches are subject to background checks to insure a safe and secure playing environment for our players.

To further involve the community, players can save $50.00 off registration fees by bringing in a NEW team or field sign sponsor to the league. Some ideas are to talk friends, neighbors and companies who may be willing to support the league. Sponsor forms are available on the league website.

Looking forward to a great season, with you!
